Spencer Karr is a Certified Public Accountant dedicated to helping businesses navigate complex tax landscapes while optimizing financial performance. A 2015 graduate of the University of Utah, Spencer began his career managing accounting for small businesses and later contributed to the financial operations of a real estate portfolio encompassing 23 multifamily properties—experience that instilled a hands-on understanding of asset valuation, cash flow management, and property tax compliance.

In 2016, Spencer joined Deloitte’s Business Tax Services division, where he advised public companies on progressive tax strategies, mergers & acquisitions, and compliance with evolving SEC and IRS regulations. His work supported clients in aligning tax positions with global business objectives, including legal entity structuring and intellectual property asset management.

Transitioning to industry roles, Spencer later served as a tax specialist at a high-growth SaaS company, where he streamlined revenue processes, implemented new ERP system, and advised on tax-efficient R&D credit maximization. His dual perspective—from Big Four advisory to operational finance—enables him to bridge compliance rigor with strategic growth priorities.
